02.09.19 - Recently had a chance to run through all the NSD19 assets that were posted on Twitter by programs, and in this post I’ll provide a quick glance at a few that stood out.

https://twitter.com/ToddKellyJr/status/1075394162319679490 – smart to amplify using program alums and circling the message back to Family.

https://twitter.com/BadgerFootball/status/1075385260181983233 – like the idea of including former great same position players in the image, and tie in the Family message. Bonus points if the alums are truly known names to the fan-base (ie pro level so you can build a RB, QB, LB - U type message). Exploit any advantage!

https://twitter.com/RFootball/status/1075380673836474370 – not sure if I like it or not, but it’s different, saw a similar concept from GT with welcome to The Flats and showcasing area. Ties in the NYC feel for Rutgers so in this case it works.

https://twitter.com/coachjstepp/status/1075424601583349760 – nice touch with the life-size cardboard cutouts. Also could work well as a tactic for recruit visits with a solid jersey swap.

https://twitter.com/ClemsonFB/status/1075363006316457985 – so many teams now all doing the glitch effects with intro-highlight-ending format it’s hard to stand out from the crowd, but this was a little ahead of most. Recruiting and SMSports graphics a copy-cat league - adjust your thinking to be first out the door or improve enough on first that your seen as unique.

https://twitter.com/AlabamaFTBL/status/1075374088372260865 – all programs can talk about getting recruits to the pros, but few do it like AL - great to see them include on their checklist: Champion and Drafted. One of only about 3-4 programs that can make that legit claim.

https://twitter.com/OhioStateFB/status/1075153736639672320 – overall creativity, few programs can match OSU Football and i don’t think any exceed them. This general promo leads a theme into their main assets (see below).

https://twitter.com/OhioStateFB/status/1075370381286895616 – once again overall creativity, and the balls to take a shot at their main rival. Few programs would get the “ok” to do that.

https://twitter.com/IlliniFootball/status/1075378058209779712 – true “signing day” execution, feels like it needs a little something more to get a splash effect, but nothing more true to the day.
